Скорлупа (shell) – твёрдая оболочка ореха, яйца / the hard covering of a nut or egg.
Засорять (to litter) – наполнять мусором, делать грязным / to fill with rubbish, to make dirty.
____________
The Russian language is extremely rich and beautiful, and it can be used to express absolutely everything: describe any shades of colors and feelings, the sounds of nature, emotional experiences, complex and deep thoughts... However, in the speech of some people, one can hear: "ummmm", "like", "so to speak"... People cannot find the right words, and they mask awkward pauses by filling them with "verbal husk". Such parasitic words carry no meaning and resemble an empty nut that has no kernel, only a useless shell that crackles. The use of crackly words and phrases allows a person to buy time to formulate a thought, but at the same time reveals their meagre vocabulary and poverty of thought.
In order not to litter your speech, you need to constantly increase your vocabulary. And this can be done through books and conversations with intelligent people.
